Cyanotype
.......
the Blues & Beyond!
FOGBELT uses the original cyanotype blueprinting process developed by Sir John Herschel in England in 1842, chemicals plus solarization – the most permanent form of printing to date. The color can be removed, but never the image. By toning (using a variety of household products as rinses) take pieces a step beyond the basic Prussian blue to lilac or brown or purple or cream……and many shades in between.
